Nice set of lists, best for someone newly diagnosed

Having diabetes is a tough challenge. Being organized and motivated is the key to managing the disease and living a healthy life. This book helps with the organization, especially for someone who is newly diagnosed and overwhelmed. For someone who has been living with diabetes, some, if not most, of the information will seem obvious and second-nature. It's definitely a good place to start.

This is especially ideal for newly-diagnosed diabetics. Provides a lot of good information and encourages good journaling and logging of blood sugars, diet and exercise. Well worth the money for someone who is struggling to stay on track with all there is to face upon getting diagnosed with this complex disease.

Easy read, organizing made simple

I highly recommend this easy to read yet extremely informative book, "The Complete Diabetes Organizer, Your Guide to a Less Stressful and More Manageable Diabetes Life." This book will help alleviate the stress of not only having diabetes, but learning how to "manage" this lifelong condition. The authors not only give numerous easy to follow guidelines reflecting their expertise, but they let us know how passionate they are to help the reader become more empowered and less stressed, thus helping improve the quality of the lives for those with diabetes and their families. Each chapter offers support and empathy, and especially very doable step by step suggestions taking into consideration the challenges we often face in our daily lives from raising children, work, travel, etc. I will recommend this book to clients with diabetes and their families - and to anyone who needs tips on organization and simplifying one's life, (yes, I have a copy!!) - there is even a section for those who have ADHD!. The organizational guidelines outlined in the "Diabetes Organizer" can be applied to many day to day situations and not just those challenged with diabetes. Following many of the guidelines in this book would act as a de-stressor and will help enhance the quality of your diabetes life!
